Starting out

It's really hard for me to start a new blog. My life doesn't begin here, but to you it does. I'd love to get right into what I am doing. This week I struggled with bias squares on a Vintage Vogue pattern, I hand stitched a beautiful rosebud stretch stitch on the collar of a dress from my Alabama Chanin book, and I finished another inch on my intarsia mittens.  I also went to work every day, cooked my meals and desperately wondered how people manage to do more.

I contemplated motherhood because it's so foreign to me. I wondered about coffee and pregnancy. Then my brain digressed into ultra light packing for infants. Is this a thing? I don't know and I mean to find out.

I knit, sew, and craft lazily and obsessively in turns. I read a ton. I live with my husband, my cat and my psycho Brittany puppy. I wear black even though I have white pets. I practice yoga, I live in the city and I manage to be bored... Somehow.  Now I blog.
